Meet your future phd advisor
The Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology (EEB) and the Department of Neurobiology and Behavior (NBB) will host our first Diversity and Inclusion Recruitment Weekend this April. This event will connect students from underrepresented backgrounds with faculty before they apply for graduate school. It is intended for those who will be in their third or fourth year of college in Spring 2017, or students who have graduated and are considering graduate school. This event is separate from the departmental application for admission, and is meant to precede applications for Cornell graduate school admissions. Applicants should self identify as Black/African American, Latina/o or Hispanic, Native American, Pacific Islander, or first generation college student. However, we recognize that there may be other axes of minority status that warrant attention.
We will cover up to $600 in travel expenses for participants, as well as housing and meals during the weekend.
Application Deadline: December 1, 2016 (closed)
Recruitment Weekend Dates: April 20-23, 2017
